In the garden

Wall to wall sunshine this morning.  Quick trip into Grange to run a few errands and it was very busy (for Grange).  Tried to open another joint bank account at the bank but were told that we would need to make an appointment - earliest seemed to be beginning of October.  Opening an account on line requires an appointment at a branch too.  Curses.

Today is my Dad's 85th birthday.  Phoned to wish him well.  He wasn't particularly chatty today.
