I think the mobile phone is now genuinely about as good (at least in wide angle) as a cheapish compact. This was taken on my Huawei P20 pro which was chosen pretty much on the basis that it was meant to have a good camera. With a 40MP camera and chunking out RAW files circa 70mb there is certainly plenty of scope in the pixels, I also love the stand alone mono lens as well. I think I may stop carrying my G16 or G1x mk 2 up mountains and just use the phone, something I thought I would never say!
