In an old gum tree
Today we ventured out for a short walk. The weather was sub optimal (wet and cold) but then again we are in November. With the goal being to avoid shops we headed off to Calderglen Park.
Since the last time we visited they have completed work on the conservatory and the main zoo is still in place. We managed to get snuffled by a ring tailed Cotte and some pigs from New Zealand.
It was mostly too chilly for me to think about taking any photos, but these Laughing Kookaburra were very obliging and I managed to get a shot of these two having what appears to be a disagreement (or mating). It is another of those shots whihc you get by luckily being in the right place at the right time.
We did not spend as long as planed out as B did not like the cold all that much, despite all his layers. In general he was also most unimpressed and managed to sleep through most of the trip, but at least we managed to venture out.
