Speed

The farmers are working at speed, taking advantage of dry days.

In contrast, I have been struck down by a cold and have slowed down to a plod. It's one of those when it's not bad enough to take to your bed but your legs feel leaden and brain a bit fuzzy.

A nuisance when I have so much to do.
