Thursday: Rovinj From The Other Side

So here's a shot of Rovinj from the other side of the headland. We have noticed a lot of changes - some of them have to do with the fact that we have never been there in August and so it felt much busier but there are other noticeable changes, such as the development of a huge hotel and the building of a jetty which obscures part of a lovely view.

Bus back to Zagreb this afternoon and here we are back again, having enjoyed a holiday within a holiday. We went for a Chinese meal tonight - the waiter asked us if we'd been on a trip as he hadn't seen us for a while. We then met my former colleague, Šnježana, for a few drinks at our old favourite, Sedmica. While there we bumped into an old friend, Jana - similarly we'd bumped into someone we knew when we were there on Sunday too - seems Zagreb is still a village.
