Catching bubbles......!

Today, Bittoo and I had a wonderful amble along by the river,  from London Bridge to Charing Cross, taking in Southbank, and Covent Garden too. All outdoors in beautiful sunshine!

We talked about school of course. She goes back on Monday and will be in tomorrow to set up her classroom....I have some resources for her plus a chapati maker seen in Global Village during my holiday in Dubai in March and brought over this summer by our friends, so I shall see her again tomorrow afternoon....NICE!

We spent some time looking at the work of Lauren Shanley (Lauren Shanley Original Embroideries  www.laurenshanley.co.uk   ) in the design studio at The Oxo Tower Wharf. What a feast of colour and creativity there and it was great to talk to the artist and hear where her designs originate and develop. No photography allowed though...so do google her name. 


It was thriving up there today. Still many tourists visiting but the contrast in weather from yesterday brought lots of the likes of us out too; just catching up whilst enjoying our capital city. Entertainment and fun provided as well by the many street artists.....
