Dragonfly visitor

It  posed for at least half an hour on my geranium - obviously exhausted from its amorous searches.  Today I planted my orchard - already had cooking apples (everyone of which had a moth maggot inside - sticky trunk wraps are on order for the autumn), desert apple, cherry, plum and blueberry.  Today I planted damson, pear, medlar and greengage (all on dwarf rootstock).  I need a few more autumn raspberry canes and a couple of summer ones and then I think I  am done.  I hope the bees and insects will enjoy the  herbaceous plants  and bulbs (yet to plant) I've got waiting for them.  Now need some bird boxes and one for a hedgehog in my wildlife area.  Keeping busy and trying to forget all the stitches and swelling in my cheek.  Stitches come out on Saturday.
