Pretty Peebles

We've decided that Peebles is a very attractive town with an excellent variety of little independent shops and cafés.

Our afternoon jaunt to Eddleston to see the Great Polish Map of Scotland was very disappointing! It is obviously undergoing some major maintenance work and looks a bit like a building site, with all the water missing. Not even worth an extra blip.

It wasn't a wasted trip, however, because we ended up having a late lunch in the Horseshoe Inn. The Cullen Skink was scrumptious.
