Had a BRILL afternoon today. We spent it in the woods. I had organised an afternoon for about a dozen families we know to come and have Christmas photo shoots in the woods, and a playtime for the kids too. I took all the Christmas props imaginable - giant baubles, a glittery sleigh, massive tinsel, large presents, stockings, the works and 2 big bags of Christmas costumes and we made 3 Christmas scenes in the woods. Even Granny pitched in, providing some gorgeous handmade Christmas bunting. We had a beautiful "vintage style" set - the bunting, a beautiful country colours snowman, twine and stick snowman,and willow heart decoration. We had a "sparkle and glitter" set, with the baubles, giant candy canes, sparkly beads etc, and a "santas grotto" - sleigh, stockings, gifts, reindeer and snowmen. I even found the hugest holly bush to complete the vintage area! It was such a good afternoon. Made hugely better for sharing it with my glamorous assistant and her two.

Katie loved seeing all her friends from the old village, loved exploring the woods, getting covered in mud, jumping in puddles and going on bear hunts. And we got a Mummy and Katie photo too. A good afternoon!
