...do you see what I see?.....

Charlotte has developed a routine when she comes to visit.

She points up at a display unit in our living room and asks to be lifted to see "the babies"...in reality two little figurines..one the S & H and YH brought back from China...the other this little fella which we bought in Barcelona. The Chinese "baby" gets a kiss....this one gets a word....poo!

This little chap is a caganer.....in Spain, in most homes, villages, towns and cities there is a Nativity scene for Christmas....in the stable together with Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the Magi and the animals....is the caganer....a man/boy in the act of pooing!

There are all sorts of reasons to explain why the caganer is there and although ours is a traditional crapper there are also modern versions of politicians, footballers, singers, Royalty etc.

Ours will be somewhere in /around the tree when it goes up!
