Morning mist

Woke this morning to see mist rising from the Allan glen with sunlight on the Braes of Doune and the town of Dunblane ( Andy Murray fame) in the distance.

Robert Louis Stevenson, on his regular holidays to the area, loved to walk here and it is believed that both Kidnapped and Treasure Island were inspired by his childhood holidays. He was sent to Bridge-of -Allan, then a Victorian spa town, for his poor health. He suffered from TB.
