I went to see this tonight with Book Club friends. It was the first book we read so we thought we should see the film. It is beautifully done and sticks closely to the book for the most part. I didn’t enjoy the book particularly ..... not keen on his style of writing and must admit whilst I appreciated the film I wouldn’t want to watch it again.
