It was the best of days.....

And maybe the worst


We had a Wednesday night visit to the allotment and discovered....SOMETHING HAD BEEN EATING OUR SWEETCORN

It was only a couple of them - so we picked a few and took them home lest whatever it was who was devouring them returned and left us with none.

Our neighbours had been decimated. All the leaves off and every single kernel nibbled off.

I’d hate to come in to that on Saturday :(
