Not much happening

I haven't done very much today. I went into the field for a little play first thing this morning and this afternoon I went to the river. I've been a bit sleepy today. When Ann came home from work I was sound asleep in my bed. I didn't wake up until she tickled me behind my ears and said, 'Molly, you're a very sleepy little collie today aren't you?'

However, once I got to the river, I perked up a bit. I was in happy, bouncy, zoomie mode and I did lots of splish, splash, sploshing. Unfortunately my happy, bouncy, zoomie mode didn't last for long. The minute I got put back on my lead I reverted back to snail mode. Ann has come to the conclusion, that at the ripe old age of 14 years old; I'm fed up walking on my lead. The trouble is............................ there's not many places where I can go and be off my lead all the time. I've usually got to do a little bit of 'on lead' walking at the beginning, or end, or both.

That's why Ann's starting to favour living in Edinburgh rather than St Ives.

For those of you who don't follow our Blips regularly; we have homes in Edinburgh and St Ives and are trying to live between the two.

However in Edinburgh there are lots of places (less than 15 mins away) that Ann can take me in the car and the minute I get out, I can be off my lead for the whole of my walk. Also, the bus service in Edinburgh is absolutely fabulous (and gorgeous little collies travel for free) so if I'm trekking about town, Ann always has 'emergency bus fare' with her so that if I get too tired we can get the bus home. We can't do that in Cornwall because the buses are far too infrequent. And even if we did get a bus, I'd still have to walk up a big steep hill to get to my house from the bus station!! And the other thing is........................... our flat in Edinburgh is on the fourth floor and there is a lift. Yay! We live in a maisonette in St Ives so every time I come home I have to walk up 26 steps to get to my front door. And then if I follow Ann to the toilet which I do frequently I have to walk up another 13 stairs!!!!

Anyway this Blip is turning a bit rambly now and we have two episodes of Corrie to watch soon.

Toodles xx
