World of Wings

L and I are always on the lookout for somewhere new ...... Wednesday is the day we set aside for exploring pastures new. Today it was the 'World of Wings' Bird of Prey centre at Cumbernauld.

Not only birds of prey in the centre ..... this rather handsome Macaw was the first bird we saw. Interesting fact .... when a Blue and Gold Macaw gets excited its face will flush red .... so no excitement when he spotted me and my camera!

The American Horned Owl was the first of the birds taking part in the flying display
