Spring in autumn

I think nature is as confused by our recent weather shifts as we are, judging by these fairly fresh sprigs of lavender that I found in our garden this morning. I noticed them as we had a (brief!) wash of sunshine. It clouded up again shortly after this.

It's been another fairly miserable day but I've felt better in myself at least! Got some course work done.
