The Calm Before The Storm

At 7.30am this morning things didn’t look too bad. It was calm and beautiful at the lake and Madame B Swan was taking her time digging around the edges - all was quiet.

By 8.30am it was pelting with rain and freezing cold!! It has stayed like that for the rest of the day!

Another storm front went through tonight and the power went off for a short while right as i was cooking the dinner, fortunately i managed to finish the pumpkin soup without too much of a delay.!!
