I think this cleverly painted Hares is one of my favourites for it's wit. Not that I am a HP fan : think I prefer Phillip Pullman.

Talking of books : did any of you get engaged with the Cardinal series on BBC 4??. I did : something about those huge open Ontario places, so beautifully photographed, really captivated me. I'm now reading Giles Blunt's Forty Words for Sorrow. The book that the first series was based on. If you like well written Noir, I'd recommend it.
