The reward

Yesterday we were out blackberry picking and today the reward-of my sister-in-laws labour. She was so enthusiastic about it all so we let her get on with it. Breakfast this morning included---yes--blackberry jam. She has now gone off to visit a friend in Bristol then on to spend a few days with my son in Hertfordshire- with jam. We have enough jam to last for ages.
