Take A Hike Tuesday

Almost every Tuesday I walk with two friends, Hank and Jay, on one of the many 'greenway' trails in the midst of my city. Today we chose to go on the Boulevard Park trail which runs along the bay, even over the water sometimes. We could see clear across the bay today even though there was a smokey overcast from the fires in British Columbia. At the half-way point of our five mile hike we saw the Herzog locomotive through a break in the trees. It is part of a mostly automated railway bed and track laying system that has been upgrading the single pair of tracks that runs from Canada to Seattle.
