Saturday at the River

Saturday we head to my parents farm by the river.  On the way, we met up with a friend so that we could take her with us.  "L" moved away last summer, and they see each other off and on, but both were looking forward to some Summer fun at the farm together this Summer, and it is finally happening. 

I read my book, while these two played in the water.  It was a perfect.  Not too hot...not too cold....and the water wasn't yucky like it tends to get this time of year. 

At dinner time, I delivered them up to my parent's house, and after a quick visit, I headed home to The Hubby.  We watched some TV after dinner, and of course....I played with the new kitty.
