Lucky
There is a poetry garden in Biggar at the top of the Main Street. A small space with welcome benches. There are a couple of poetry boards to display pieces but unfortunately the glass was misted up and I couldn't read any of them.
Around the board there are some shrub beds. Within these are small plaques of fragments from Scottish poets on the theme of plants and gardens. This is one on the theme of lucky heather. Wonderful observation.
The garden is a fabulous idea; a place of contemplation in the company of the thoughts of others captured in a few verses.
