Allermuir Hill from Braidburn Valley Park

I am off for the week. In the morning I hang out the Monday washing, then do some bike maintenance. After coffee, I go for a walk. the weather is cool and cloudy. From the Braidburn Valley Park, I can see the tops of the hills slice in to the clouds.

After lunch, I go for a short bike ride. As I head through Penicuik, the wind and light rain put me off going further south, so I head east. the takes me over Mount Lothian and past Gladhouse Reservoir. From there, I follow National Cycle Network Route 1 to Carrington, Bonnyrigg, Dalkeith and Musselburgh. I stop to take some photos of the River Esk, Extra. Then I follow NCN route 1 back in to Edinburgh, and home from the Commonwealth Pool.
