Cows and cable cars

Today I got the bike off the rack and headed up the valley to Fuente De. A steady climb, mildly busy road but good surface and a fab swoop down at the end of the day. Walt and Tesco bear took a rest day after yesterday's hike but Ferdy mouse came along for more lizard spotting.

At Fuente De I got lucky with a single cancellation ticket so only had to wait 15 mins for a ride. It is a spectacular cable car, and another world up the top amongst the bare limestone peaks. You go up about 750 metres in less than 5 minutes.

There are a lot of cows here, and so today's quirky photo features a model one advertising a village queseria alongside the owners 2CV.
