On Pruning in Late Summer

Seems the buddleia passed
the cuddlier test
when birds were looking
to build their nest.

My Extra shows the side view. Don't know whose nest this was that came to light when I was pruning this afternoon, but I'm guessing robins'. Off to table tennis this evening. Gardening's an excellent warm-up exercise.
