Amble
Today was the last full day of our trip to Northumberland and we ambled along to Amble, and I spent far too much time photographing the formations, shapes and details of the rocks on the beaches. I only had a little camera so efforts to photograph some of the seabirds were very poor, but enjoyed watching the oyster catchers, lapwings and other small brown/grey wading birds I can't identify - maybe sandpipers? It was a cloudy grey day so there were very few people around here, although the town and harbour were quite busy.
