Dolly and Kiki

Kiki had a checkup at the vet this evening! Her teeth look good, although unfortunately there is another issue that has thrown us a bit this evening! In February Kiki developed a small bump on her ear, it wasn't big and, given she had been quite unwell, wasn't much of a concern at the time! It's been getting checked on as regularly as Kiki visits the vet, but tonight Ingeborg was bit surprised by quite how much it had grown! She has a melanoma on her right ear, they are not very common in rabbits apparently, so of course Kiki had to have one! Tonight we reached the stage of discussing options, surgery to remove it (a time-critical option), or leave it and treat conservatively! After getting her through everything she's been through, to be afflicted with something else just seems to cruel! Anyway, she's feeling fine at the moment, just her usual cheeky self I'm pleased to say! I lay beside her ad cuddled after I took this, thankfully she didn't mind me crying on her fur!
