Head Banger

This is the light fitting in my study (left by the previous owner who used it as a bedroom).  Normally it would hang over the bed and not be a problem, but now you have to walk under it to get to my desk.  I am fine, being vertically challenged, but TJ has banged his head on it nearly every time he comes into the room and is now suggesting that it is replaced with something higher.

However, I really like it, so have no intention of letting him move it!  Watch this space:-)

Daughter and son-in-law went home yesterday in order to avoid the busy Bank Holiday Monday traffic on their way to the south east of England, but unfortunately they caught the rain instead, making it a very unpleasant drive.  Home safely, thank goodness and we're missing them already!  

Weather was better today and managed to get a load of washing dry on my new wall fixed whirligig.  Delighted with it:-)

Hope to catch up with you all soon, but must watch the second episode of Bodyguard.  Will he attempt to kill the Home Secretary?  Who knows!
