London Festival of Education 2012

I got an early train to London and reluctantly left Paul at home to feed the in-laws whilst I whizzed to the Institute of Education for a day of interesting discussions and talks. Started with Gove but included Michael Wilshaw, John Hattie, Lord Adonis, Bill Lucas and a cast of a thousand outstanding educational leaders and influencers. What a day! I'm still here, about to hear Wilshaw talk about Ofsted and teaching. It's fascinating. Worth leaving Paul for a day-good job or I would have been really hacked off! Train home this evening and my dinner being cooked for me! Yeah!
