Bike vs Rowing Boat

Can you imagine that a biker doesn‘t see a 12 meter long rowing boat and crashes into it?
That‘s the newest story from our rowing club and happened last Tuesday.

The boat was on trestles and the crew was getting ready. A cyclist overlooked the boat and crashed into it!
It is important to know that any kind of vehicles and cycling is prohibited on the paths around the area. The cyclist fell and got bruises, the boat fell down and was damaged. Unfortunately, the newest boat in the club that was christened just a week ago. Most annoying ... and now a case for the repair shop and the insurance company of the cyclist.
