We caught the bus from town up to Tibidabo. The bus was super busy and it took quite a long and winding route, but went past some huge and very fancy houses.

We walked up to the Sagrat Cor Church and sat in the crypt for a while (it was lovely and cool inside and we’d stood up on the bus). The view over Barcelona was very impressive from outside the basilica. We had some lunch and then caught the funicular railway back down the mountain.

Back in the city, we walked down Las Ramblas and then explored the Gothic Quarter for a while. Got some milkshakes from the most inept milkshake maker in the world (Annabel gave up after they gave her the wrong one for the third time).

In the evening we went for pizza in a restaurant near the hotel (delicious) and then walked up to see the Magic Fountain.
