Arriving after a long droukit day...

I started the morning at home (where it was pouring with rain when we left just before 8.00 ) , was on stage at an Edinburgh Fringe “conversation with ..” by 12.00 ( and the city on the last day of this year’s festivals was sadly grey and wet ) and got to Arran for tomorrow’s Cabinet meeting ( via a very damp Ardrossan) just as the cloud lifted in spectacular fashion.
