Band-winged Meadowhawk

I finally finished all the laundry today!  But I still didn't get the carpet cleaned.  Pipersdad wants it to dry completely before we clean it...I don't really understand why but I didn't want to argue. ;-)

It was 98F (I'm so tired of the heat!) today so I didn't go out for a walk until after dinner when it had cooled into the 80s.  Unfortunately it was a little windy by then and I couldn't get a really sharp shot of this pretty dragonfly but this was the best of the blurry bunch.

I am grateful that it's time to relax in the recliner now. :-)
