Gangnam Style

When I got home last night from the end of season bash for Eve's team I had a text message telling me an old friend departed this life a few hours earlier.

As details emerged it all became harder to take in. It took a bit of an effort to leave the house and get Joe round to his game this morning but then, in that way that only kids can, they lift you back up again without even knowing it - as Joe scored his first goal he celebrated with a spontaneous gangnam style dance. Everyone was upended with laughter, including me. So, of course, he duly scored again later and did exactly the same thing. He was even happy to reprise it on the walk home.
