Arrival in our garden!

This bright yellow fruit, with a warty, pebbly surface.......arrived in our garden today!
I think ....It’s is a Chinese bitter melon, gourd.....thanks to Google!
It probably helps your understanding if I explain, that our neighbours are Chinese....and they have a restaurant in the village!.....am thinking that they are growing some of their vegetables/ fruits for their kitchen!

We think they are growing these fruits, and this one has “escaped”!
