A soggy day out

In Winchester for a service at the cathedral.  Stayed on afterwards to have a look round.  It's a lovely building and the best place to be in torrential rain. I liked this view of the choir stalls. Have you been to a service here ThingsBeautiful?  I'd happily go again, so let me know if you ever have a free Sunday and feel like joining me.

The journey home was spoilt by a VERY LONG wait at Brockenhurst Station due to a tree falling on the line,  Unfortunately it was just too far from home to be able to find alternative transport on a Bank Holiday Sunday.  We were told we can claim compensation.
