Spontaneous emergency cake

Today we drove over to Chelmsford to spend the weekend with some of my favourite people on the planet.

We had a lovely day chatting, playing with the kids, walking and talking and then my wonderful friend decided that we should have cake. So she just whipped up this rather delicious lemon drizzle cake! It did not disappoint.

We ended the night having played Articulate and put the world to right. It was a good day.
