Making a Splash

The girls spend most of their time in the pool, a lot more time than Poppy would spend if it was just us 4. Alf doesn’t normally venture out of his room until lunchtime and certainly couldn’t be described as a sun worshipper.
When they’re not in the pool, the children have been playing games; Bananagram, Cheat, Uno and Scabby Lizzie have been the favourites. We’re planning a big Triv championship tonight after dinner. D is barbecuing steak.
We’ve got an excursion planned for tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be able to blip something other than our swimming pool!
