To read

It's a rainy day, so I'll be starting the next book on my reading list, Raising Sparks. This is one of the shortlist for The Guardian's Not the Booker Prize. I've set myself the challenge of reading and commenting on all of them week by week. I've also put myself forward to be considered as a judge, but am very unlikely to be chosen - some people make very much more detailed comments than me! 

Only three of the books in this pile are for NTB. Lullaby is for a book group and Sally Rooney is highly spoken of.
