Past its sell by date

Well, looks like the now Tropical Storm Lane is slowly breaking apart.   Oahu has again been very lucky, huge sigh of relief.  Today was overcast with bouts of windier gusts, then not much, still muggy.  We have not gotten the predicted rain.   Big Island is still tallying their record rainfall, and flooding; rain continues for them as well as in Maui County.   Stayed home all day, unsure of what's open or closed.    Called the hardware store and a live person answered, said they were closed and re-stocking, no opening date set.
