Mirror, Mirror ....

Popped into Chipping Norton for lunch and a stroll and came across this interesting garden paraphernalia shop. Lots of old things for sale. I think the mirrors were £200ish, or you could buy some rusty metal letters for £9.95 each. We weren't really tempted.

On the subject of mirrors, a few years ago we were having lunch in a pub in the town when a photographer from The Independent came in and asked if he could take our photo. We had to carry on eating as though he wasn't there, and he took a few shots of us - but artfully reflected in a large mirror. They were doing an article on 'The Chipping Norton Set'. We eagerly awaited publication only to find they didn't use our photo, preferring an image of the Welcome To Chipping Norton road sign. We were quite offended! Thinking about it though we would have been more offended to have our picture associated with this rather infamous group.
