AFC Telford United 3 Chester FC 1
An appropriate grey cloud hovers above the Buck's Head.
Chester played their first game since the 8-1 debacle at Blyth Spartans. Storm damage at the Deva has meant that all home fixtures have been postponed since then so this is the first chance the players have had to put it right.
Suffice to see they completely blew it and were comfortably beaten again. I only took one photo at the game and realise now that I have captured the build up to Telford's third goal scored by a player who was briefly on loan at Chester last year. The goal came on the break after a Chester corner. First of all we had the embarrassment of the players not knowing who should take the corner and then after the ball was cleared Telford went down the other end and scored.
The managers' honeymoon period is well and truly over and 500 Chester fans weren't happy at the end.
