Get me to the Church on time

The string ensemble that Jamie is part of played at a Wedding today.  I wish I could share the sound :-)   The little church, in the middle of a field, has no electricity, running water or facilities.  Wonderful.   Until someone urgently needs the loo and the only way is to dash off to the reception venue half a mile away!   A mad dash along very narrow lanes but we made it back with sixty seconds to spare ...... but this little party arrived fifteen minute late.  Their mini-coach unable to make the tight turn into the field, they had to walk in across the grass for the last 150 yards.   (Oh yes, high heels and all!)  A joyous service followed, enjoyed by one and all.

Back home to get all the packing done for a trip to have lunch with Ruth in Birmingham tomorrow.
