Veteran's Day Park Outing

I feel so fortunate to have enjoyed an extra day home with O this week. I am posting this after the fact and remembering how much fun we had. It broke my heart this morning when Owen told me "I want to stay with you mama" three times during breakfast while I was getting ready to leave for the day. He is starting to tell us exactly what he is thinking and it was so hard for me to head out the door this morning (Friday November 16).

We spent the morning of November 12 at Imagine Play with Charlotte and some other friends were there too (Nathan, Emma, Gracie, Evelyn). After nap we were hanging out on the couch watching vehicles drive by and Owen put his arm around my neck. He held on with his one arm and lifted his knees in the air and told me, "This is my first trick." It will be interesting to see what other tricks he comes up with over time...
