Bumble on the Buddleia

As I went into the garden to do some tidying up, I spotted this rather lethargic bumble bee on the buddleia which hangs over from next door (and which looks healthier than ours!).

It kindly stayed there, moving its proboscis from floret to floret sucking the nectar, while I went to get my macro lens. The sun kept going in, and it was a bit windy so I had to steady the buddleia branch with one hand while twisting and bending it to get the bee out of the shade into the sun and get it at a suitable angle, so my 300+ shots were taken one-handed but at least I got a few reasonable ones: this is probably the best of them. (The things we do for a blip!)
