The Birthday Girl.

I decided that for my birthday treat, we would go out for breakfast to a converted barn/restaurant called Cobbles, on the road to Ogmore-by-sea. (see my extra)  We have passed it many times, and it is always very busy. We arrived not long after they opened, and it was already quite busy. We managed to get a table on the top floor, and I ordered the small breakfast, and J had the bigger one, obviously. We asked for the bacon & egg to be well done, and we were served quite quickly, but the first mouthful was so disappointing, as the food wasn't that hot, and the egg was runny. I did eat nearly all of mine, except the egg, but J left quite a bit of his, which is very rare for him. We should have complained really, but I will definitely be sending in a dissatisfied customer review. We decided to drive down to the beach, and see if the Coffee Pig was there, and luckily it was, so we ordered coffee and sat in the car overlooking the sea. There were lot's of people out & about making the most of the sunshine. We then drove back to the library, to pick up a book I had ordered, and then into town to get a frame for  the official graduation photograph  of our g/daughter that we had yesterday. A quick trip back home, and then down to Porthcawl, which was heaving. W e did manage to park near the harbour, and we sat in the car watching the world go by We are now back home, .and I am still not very hungry, so it will be a small meal later, and then we are going to watch a DVD.   I just had to show you the lovely card that J sent me, well he actually sent me two. I am a very lucky girl:-)
