Fruits of our Labours

A fair amount of time this week has been spent attacking the privet hedge with its nasty mix of hawthorn, holly and brambles which has been overtaking the few shrubs surviving in the border.  It needs sorting out so it has had a severe cutting back - ongoing!  The neighbours came down the garden today and I thought they were coming to discuss the extent of the cutting back!  They hadn't!  Of course, some of the brambles have some luscious looking blackberries.  Might have a use for them later!  Must be some pay off for all the hard work!  In extras you can see today's accumulation of bits to be disposed of.  It's a big pile!

Recovering from the day in London yesterday - slept well!  The viaduct is still up on page 1 - thank you all.  Think differently about viaducts every time you see one...
