Strathaven Balloon Festival

MaggieD, Chloe and I were off at sparrow cough this morning and away cross country to the lovely town of Strathaven (or Stra'ven) for the Balloon Festival.
As one of my childhood treats was a visit to the park and a ride on the miniature trains, a return visit was no hardship, even at 5.45am!
It was a delight to see all those balloons floating off in the breeze and Chloe enjoyed meeting lots of other friendly pups of all ages.
It does occur to me that Edinburgh would also be a very suitable venue with that in-built source of hot air at the foot of the Royal Mile.
