A Girl And Her Can
Today was The Great American Can Roll in physics.
Dübz was not pleased with us in Lit today... I finished the last page of my Italian autobiography today. Now to physics...
Every year, just before Thanksgiving, the physics classes have a can-rolling competition. The same ramp (pictured above) has been used for over the past thirty years. The class winner for farthest and shortest roll goes to the school finals. The winners of the entire school are allowed to ask our teacher any question, unrelated to his personal life, at any time except for the AP, Regents, or midterm. Perri (pictured above) won both for our class. It was a nice way to spend two periods.
We ate lunch in the office, and then the rest of the day went by quickly. We had a little meeting with Frazer to discuss the season and ideas for next year. Then Pat, Vinny, Timmy, Mike, Anthony, Wes, and I jogged to her house to load over a hundred bags of donated items into a truck that would eventually deliver them to people who's lives have been effected greatly by Sandy. It took us quite a while, but it was a lot of fun. After that, I went home and returned to the school soon after for our first Science Olympiad Study Night. It was a huge success! A ton of us met at the school and just worked on our events for three hours. I got a ton of stuff done and I can't wait for the next Study Night.
I'm 99% sure that I'LL BE SEEING COLDPLAY PERFORM ON DECEMBER 30th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
AND TEDYOUTH IS TOMORROW TOO!!!!!!!
And I named the can roll The Great American Can Roll; no one actually calls it that. I just thought it had a nice ring to it.
