Scottish National War Memorial

The Memorial or Shrine sits on the highest part of Edinburgh's castle rock. It was designed by the Scottish architect : Sir Robert Lorimer and opened in 1927 by the then Prince of Wales Edward the VIII with Field Marshall Earl Haig by his side.
It holds the names of all Scots died in the two world wors and all conflicts since. The names are written in the Rolls of Honour and you are able to look through the many books of names under the different services and regiments.

Back dated blips of family in London now been completed.
